Committee protests dig at Temple Mount
The dig has been approved by the police, but the Israel Antiquities Authority declined to respond to the Waqf's excavations and would not comment on whether one of its archaeologists had approved the move.
The Committee for the Prevention of Destruction of Antiquities on the Temple Mount, an apolitical group comprised of archaeologists and intellectuals from the left and right, criticized the use of a tractor for excavation at the Temple Mount "without real, professional and careful archaeological supervision involving meticulous documentation."
Speaking for the committee yesterday, archaeologist Eilat Mazar said: "There is disappointment at the turning of a blind eye and the ongoing contempt for the tremendous archaeological importance of the Temple Mount."
At the beginning of the year, Israeli excavations near the Temple Mount, part of a plan to rebuild the Mugrabi bridge walkway, led to violent protests from Arabs in Israel and around the world.

If any Jewish or Christian artifacts that would be discovered by the muslims would be Immediately destroyed In order to erase any Judeo/Cristian link to the area.
I suspect that If muslims were put In charge of the Holylang after the fall of the ottoman empire the wailing wall would have been disassembled and the old blocks used as foundations for a mosque.

Anyway, indeed they have, Enrico. The Waqf has been digging into the Temple Mount and doing massive underground construction, destroying what the find and dumping the remnants in a garbage dump. Sometimes they miss something and a treasure is discovered. See this post, for instance. Muslims build only mosques and destroy everything else . Jewish,Bhuddist,Hindu,temples, The Christian Cemetery In Armenia that I read was destroyed and paved...I could go on and on , They claim to have given the world the number zero but I read that they conquered India and looted/pilfered the zero.
now Sol don't get me wrong I do not hate muslims, I have met quite a few that deserved earned respect because they are respectful, I just cannot support anyone who wants to tell me how to live whether It be a muslim or christian or the government or that nasty rosie o'donnell. Every human Is thei'r own master...
