There's so much interesting information coming out of the Holy Land Foundation trial in Texas it's hard to keep up. It's clearer than ever that the Muslim American Society is the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States, and the Brotherhood's leadership includes newly made Islamic Society of Boston trustee, Jamal Badawi.

Miss Kelly has a pair of detailed must-read posts with information you won't get in the Boston Globe: What's the Difference Between "Mainstream" Muslim Leaders and Muslim Brotherhood in Boston?

...Dr. Badawi has been described to me as a peaceful, pious man, and he looks the part, but when I looked into his teachings, I found many not-very-peaceful teachings. I think Badawi's troubles are just beginning with the Holy Land Foundation trial. I think that the ISB's troubles will start up again as well, as it apparently continues to bring fundamentalist Islamist, terrorist sympathizers to Boston. Like moths to the flame, these folks.

Mayor Menino, can you comment on the fact that the most recent ISB trustee is reportedly on the Board of Directors of the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S.? Now will you pay attention to the leadership of the Roxbury mosque?

Tell me again why this Egyptian scholar who is a professor from a Canadian college is one of only three trustees of the ISB, an organization which purports to represent local Muslims. Why isn't the Roxbury mosque being run by Muslims from Massachusetts, who've been here for decades?...

and What's All This Fuss About the Muslim Brotherhood Anyway? More on Badawi and ISB

...Part of the mission of the Muslim Brotherhood, which is quite detailed and well-thought out, is to establish an Islamic Center in every major city. This center will constitute the "axis of our movement" and "supply our battallions" as the Muslim Brotherhood marches forth, bringing dawah to us filthy, miserable Americans. Call me crazy, but I'd say the brand new Roxbury mosque might be just such a Muslim Brotherhood Islamic center. And Massachusetts taxpayers have subsidized it (via a sweet Boston Redevelopment Authority transaction), to boot! Gotta give the MB credit, they know how to work the system.

Jamal Badawi's name comes up again in the MB's master plan, the grand Jihad to eliminate and destroy Western civilization (puh-leeze!). The Dr. Jamal Badawi Foundation is listed, along with ISNA, as "providing the seed of the comprehensive dawa organization."...

Not surprisingly, CAIR is seething about the list of unindicted co-conspirators in the HLF trial. Of course, they're also angry about actual Hamas leaders being listed and "smeared":

Each and every one of the over three hundred listed unindicted co-conspirators, whether an individual or an organization, suffer massive harm to their good names, their reputations, their privacy, and their economic well-being. Included on the list are main political members of Hamas, both living (Mousa Abu Marzook and Khalid Mishal) and dead (Abdel Aziz Rantisi and Ahmed Yassin), persons who have pled guilty to material support of Hamas (Mohamed El Shorbagi)...

Go figure.

The leftists at Support the Mosque (including hard-core anti-Israel activists like Alice Rothchild, Hannah Mermelstein, Hilda Silverman and Susan Jacoby and others, though those are the names that jump out immediately) would do better for their cause if they didn't spam blogs, and showed they had an open-eyed knowledge of the world by not trying to white wash the Muslim Brotherhood and Yussuf Qaradawi, whose extremist Jew, homosexual and Western-hating record is well known here, as is London Mayor Ken Livingstone's.
