I just love how Christopher Hitchens actually said "Gag me with a spoon" while offering dismissives as D'Souza went on about Mother Theresa. GAG ME WITH A SPOON? Mr. Hitchens MUST have been off his game immensely, it the best he could retort with is an aphorism found most frequently on the lips of 13 year old girls, inhabiting Santa Barbara, circa 1983!
I just saw it. Looks to me like the Christians are catching on. We dazzled 'em with the "evidence" for 100 years or so, but as much as we hate to admit it, many of our conclusions and assertions come not from the evidence but from assumptions that we bring to the evidence. The Christians are beginning to examine the assumptions of we naturalists and they are making some uncomfortable points. For example, Hitchens was pretty weak in his explanation of the nature of transcendence. It looked like D'Souza's rodeo quip. (several events with a lotta' bull in between)

So which side is Hitchens taking?
