More information is emerging on the man whose death spawned a thread attracting the greatest collection of moonbatic insanity in Solomonia history, Riad Hamad: Man found dead was being investigated over charity cash
...According to a search warrant affidavit, Hamad operated the Palestine Children's Welfare Fund, which bills itself as an organization to improve the lives of Palestinian children.
It said that Hamad received $633,965 in donations and that he sent some of the money -- about $527,000 -- to the Middle East. But the affidavit said authorities "can not determine the ultimate disposition of these funds at this time."
The affidavit said authorities think Hamad was using the donated money for personal use and not paying federal income tax on it.
The document also said that Hamad failed to file several income tax returns from 2000 to 2006 and did not pay any taxes on earned income during those years.
Hamad also gave copies of unfiled federal income tax returns and false documents to various universities in Texas to obtain federal loans in the amount of $135,000, the affidavit said...
just read the "moonbatic insanity" thread. frightening. not the fact loons like this exist, but that they run universities, NGOs (and even governments!) throughout the world. i have become really anxious recently. it feels like munich 1938, the chance to defeat this monstrosity is rapidly slipping away.
A fair number of those moonbats also clearly supported groups like Hamas. One of Hamad's friends, Eileen Fleming, told of how she met elected members of Hamas, but met no 'terrorists'.
They sent thousands of dollars to Hamad's apparently ersatz charity, and most of that money probably was put back into the local Austin economy. In his own way, Hamad was inadvertenly helping Israel, by diverting terror support moneies that way.
These moonbat/ISM types really are the most gullible people on the planet, a fact that future 'charity founders' are probably noting..
HAMAS BUMPED OFF RIAD HAMAD.
Riad Hamad was running a front that obtained money for Hamas under the guise of charity. HIs children'scharity went to UNRWA camps run by Hamas. Once there, the money was fungible. He lost a case that made him owe $60,000 and he stole some of the donation money. That makes Hamas angry. Since the Feds were in the process of busting him, they couldnt afford him turning states evidence and revealing how Hamas raises funds in the USA, so they offed him.
you guys are the hate filled loons. hamad sent books and medicine to help save kids lives and planted trees in palestine. Israel is an apartheid terror state and mossad killed this poor man for trying to save some kids obv
riad was probably skimming too much off the take from his "charity".
The imams issued a fatwa against riad, sort like the fatwa issued against Salman Rushdie.
