The best time I had on your blog in 2008 was when I battled shrieking Greta LIAR Berlin and her fellow hags over her easily disprovable claim at a Daniel Pipes talk that the great Wafa Sultan never appeared on Al Jazeera.
The BEST thing about Solomnia is that you seem to permit virtually any post from any poster to appear. No Registration BS.
Any venue is better when you can match wits with those you disagree with. It helps the Good Guys hone our arguments against the lies of the enemies of the US, Israel.
Indymedia censors 100% and only approves like minded posts to appear.
If it's not asking too much, can you say if you censor any posts? If so what percentage? It seems that you let anyone post - even me. ;-)
Ha! Yeah, I let most stuff go here. It just depends on how much it annoys me.
On the Israel and antisemitism stuff I let offensive comments stand because of course I want people to see what the reality is out there. People need to know, not be insulated. I usually only ditch something if I think it's not real (a "moby" of some sort).
If someone posts over and over again (like one of our Nazi friends was doing) that'll get to me, and we had one guy who didn't seem to like Honest Reporting much and kept showing up to leave an annoying sentence or two of snark along with his website address. That's another thing that starts to go over the line -- if it finally hits the trigger in my head that I'm allowing my bandwidth to be used to publicize something highly questionable...I usually let it slide once or twice, but not over and over.
And finally, let's face it, this blog doesn't get enough comments for me to be deleting much. I need all the action I can get. So to answer your question, I haven't deleted many posts, nor banned many commenters, nor edited out, say, links (particularly links to just basic Nazi sites) from posts, though I've done a very few of each. (A fraction of a percentage point's worth.)
