Seriously though, Levant is due some applause. His incredulousness, his frustration, etc., is all reined in and tempered rather well. It's precisely the Orwellian cast of such "human rights" bureaucracies and b.s. in general that results in the need for such pedantic demonstrations, but Levant manages to leaven it with some real insight and humor. Still, the slow-creep of such bureaucratically installed "human rights" officiousness is so extraordinarily frustrating. It's similar to having to confront a grown-up (in chronological terms) who is still acting like a teenager or grade-schooler in terms of their sense of entitlement and sense of self-importance in general.

The moral dullity and intellectual incuriosity needing to be confronted is similar to confronting an adult who still needs to have their hand held while crossing the street at a busy intersection. That, in simplistic terms, is the analogy that comes to mind. And yet, that is precisely what is being institutionalized and placed within entrenched, bureaucratic frameworks in Canada and in the west in general as a result of long considered, legislative and judicial actions.
