At Breath of the Beast, a former KGB agent discusses manipulation of the press, and the intellectuals...and how easy it all was: Before There Was Pallywood...
Superb stuff. I see Yaacov (Breath of the Beast) has Neil Postman's "Amusing Ourselves to Death" recommended in his sidebar. Another very solid volume that explores modern media machinations in a deeply probing manner is Jacques Ellul's "Propaganda: The Formation of Men's Attitudes." Very highly recommended, both of them.
This man has a fantastic insight into the Western press!
