Blood for Oil indeed. This is a bit worse in a way isn't it? After all, the blood is already spilled. These aren't futures we're talking about. Lockerbie bomber Megrahi earned value by mass murder. His scrip is backed not by gold but by the gallons of blood he spilled. Barrels of blood for barrels of oil. Fort Knox as blood bank: Lockerbie bomber 'set free for oil'
The British government decided it was "in the overwhelming interests of the United Kingdom" to make Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi, the Lockerbie bomber, eligible for return to Libya, leaked ministerial letters reveal.
Gordon Brown's government made the decision after discussions between Libya and BP over a multi-million-pound oil exploration deal had hit difficulties. These were resolved soon afterwards.
The letters were sent two years ago by Jack Straw, the justice secretary, to Kenny MacAskill, his counterpart in Scotland, who has been widely criticised for taking the formal decision to permit Megrahi's release.
The correspondence makes it plain that the key decision to include Megrahi in a deal with Libya to allow prisoners to return home was, in fact, taken in London for British national interests.
Edward Davey, the Liberal Democrat foreign affairs spokesman, said: "This is the strongest evidence yet that the British government has been involved for a long time in talks over al-Megrahi in which commercial considerations have been central to their thinking."...
Kenny MacAskill's appeal to compassion not only made a mockery of compassion on the merits as known, but this adds another spit in the face to the true spirit of the word as it was never anything but a lie in the first place. Those who bought the original excuse for the release should feel particularly used.

We already had the paper trail, but Jack Straw has admitted it in an interview. Not ashamed of it, either, though he insists Gordon Brown wasn't involved (at least, says he, there ain't no proof of that): ...So the PTA... Read More
Saif Al-Islam El-Qaddafi, in the role of Baghdad Bob, tells us in his New York Times Op-Ed not to believe our lying eyes. Qaddafi says was no deal for oil, there was no "Hero's Welcome" in Libya and Megrahi was obviously innocent all along.
It's appalling that Qaddafi is insulting our intelligence this way, but it's worse that the NY Times prints these lies.
Gordon Brown did make from Great Britain a country like Brown is himself, ugly, spineless, cowardish, stinking, rotten.
A mass-murderer is allowed to go home to get a hero's welcome, because is he a hero by killing unbelievers. Yes the terrorist did kill hundreds of unbelievers, just as the wish was from his inspirator Terrorist Khadaffi.
Brown is now working together with terrorists and is rewarding them.
A Dutch Freedom Fighter named Geert Wilders whose only crime is to warn against the unwanted effects of islamisation is not allowed by Brown's hitman pornvideo's looker on tax-payers costs mrs. Tut-tuttebel. This man who is a member of the Dutch House of Commons may not enter GB after Lord Nazi a muslim extremist is threatening to make violent protests. Are you imbeciles in GB, softies, islam-appeasers, cowards, Brown's ass-lickers. What are you fucking stinking Brits?
Are you nothing?

The above is a real website.
I just pray he doesn't harm any more people.
Lisa, you think that only megrahi can harm more people?
I suggest that you pray that islamofascists can't find another animal like megrahi to harm people.
Well, what do they want from us...simpathy? He caused so many people to die...well, we'll give him our "sorries" but not for what he did.
