At Harry's Place, blogger Joseph Weissman, aka Seismic Shock, gives more background on the threats made to him by anti-Semitic Anglican Priest Stephen Sizer: Introducing myself
I am the blogger at the centre of Sizergate, having had an unwelcome visit from the police at 10am on a Sunday morning when I was still in my pyjamas. You can read my story on the Index on Censorship or on BBC News.
I am a Christian strongly opposed to anti-Semitism, and I also support the continued existence of Israel. I attend an Anglican evangelical church occasionally, and also a neo-charismatic church more regularly. I hope for a just and peaceful solution to the current Israeli-Palestinian conflict that provides security for Israelis and Palestinians alike, as well as justice for both Jewish and Arab refugees from 1948.
A couple of years ago, I began reading up on Christian theology on the Middle East, and discovered the Rev Stephen Sizer and the Sabeel network. I read some of Rev Sizer's theology, and looked through his papers on the internet, where I found out that he had given a talk in Iran at the invitation of the Khomeinist regime, to talk about the dangers of Christian Zionism. I thought it was ridiculous that Rev Sizer on the one hand was calling for an end to apocalyptic religious agitation from Christian Zionists, without mentioning anything of the apocalyptic religious agitation of his Khomeinist hosts! Where's the ethics in that?...[More.]

Looks like Stephen Sizer (previous: Anti-Semitic Anglican Priest Stephen Sizer Uses Police to Silence Blogger, More Detail From British Blogger Seismic Shock) is enforcing conformity within the Christian ranks, as those who do not toe the line: Seismic... Read More

I'm glad you posted this, I was about to -
Calling the cops on a blogger is something that happens in Egypt, Syria, Iran -
Meanwhile I gather from the comment thread on Harry's that BBC have deleted some comments on their blog?
Oy already.
Also, what's with Sizer that he can't handle some debate? Maybe Joseph/Yeze brought up too many facts?
And, in the Harry's comment thread, it's asked, why is the "continuing existence of Israel" even a question?
Oy already.
What's the deal with these generalized posts, like #2 the one directly above, that keep popping up. What possible benefit is there? Is it a secret message? There's no link to a spam/$$$ site. I don't get it.
It's gone already (you're #2 now). They've been putting in some site as their link for their name. They think it puts them higher on search engine results. It actually does nothing, even if I leave it, since every link in a comment gets rel="nofollow" added to it, which means that no search engine that matters pays attention to it.
My spam filters were doing a great job right up until just before Christmas, now all these annoying little messages are leaking through. If it keeps up I'll have to add another layer of filter, but I really don't want to.
Spammers should be killed on sight. I'm not kidding.
Fascinating thread on HP. Lots of intricacy revealed on it.

Just an fyi and additional background.
First the conspicuous nebisha beating his chest regarding this story here.

Next Sizer's reply and letter to Wiseman. Of note in this letter and if true is somewhat concerning regarding Wiseman -
You also wrote anonymously to the hosts of various conferences I was invited to, to urge them not to allow me to speak. You know from the responses you received, some from Messianic leaders, that they share the Apostle Paul’s disdain for your methods.http://stephensizer.blogspot.com/2008/11/open-letter-to-mordechai-ben-emet.html

Concern troll is concerned.
Hey Troll or how about tool -
Don't call people trolls especially when you don't know WHAT THE F you're talking about or who you're speaking to and in this case when they're likely a lot bigger than you. It also makes you even less credible to the 10 people that actually read your blog each week when you try and tar and feather an actual troll.... no you can go back to your tiny blog and listen to yourself in your own echo chamber... as my comment was addressed to Solomon and not a robot looking for a monolithic unquestioning echo chamber.....
Take care too...

Read the last comment (as of now) at Seismic's post.

He cites Richard Dick Silverstein's own comment section where one of his "own flock" of pro Palestinian readers points out the idiocy of Silverstein trying to somehow point out how this "situation" is somehow "different" and a "TORT"... gotta love it when this tool tries to act like he knows anything about torts or legalities civil let alone criminal...

No surprise at Silverstein doing gymnastics to support Sizer. What a maroon.
And let's everyone relax. Alan obviously just misread your comment, not knowing you.
Why isn't the sizer jackass hit with a "british" hate speech flag?
