No surprise. Here's how Ha'aretz headlines the story about the imminent fuel problem at the Gaza power plant: Gaza sources: Sole power plant to halt over Israel fuel blockade.
There's one major problem. The Ma'an story they use as a source is here: Authorities: Gaza Power Plant to cease functioning within hours.
The Ma'an story says nothing about the "blockade" being the issue. The problem involves the ongoing issue of a cut in EU funding and an inability of the PA authorities to collect bills and pay for the fuel as the Ma'an story makes clear. Haaretz has literally taken the issue and put a brand new self-destructive spin on it that even the Arab writers at Ma'an weren't suggesting.
That is how the self hating Western Left operates.
They dont understand Truth in the since of how everyone else does. Truth is measured as Revolutionary Truth, or that which serves to further the Leftist cause, agenda, or harm the enemies of the Left...whose arch enemy is the Western Conservative or Right....which in effect means Western peoples.
In Israel, this is the White Jewish Male. Everyone with an aspect to themselves different than that, who supports the Leftist power structure as least as an offset to the White Jewish Male or Jewish Conservative, or just Conservative supporter.

As for the power situation, personally I think cutting off the people in Gaza is a bad idea. Some arrangements need to be made.
For one this this is unkind, in fact the whole way Gaza has been approached needs to be rethought imo. All that's happened is, Hamas and even worse are reinforced.
Privation isn't making the citizens of Gaza like Israel more and the extremists less.
And there are a lot of people in Gaza, kids for example, who have nothing to do with the leadership but who will be harmed and then radicalized by things like this.
However, Sol is right, the article really seems slanted because it doesn't reflect the Ma'an News information.
That's irresponsible.
But, speaking up for people who can't help themselves isn't wrong and it isn't treasonous.
You should read up on discrimination against Arabs, Ethiopians and Messianic Jews in Israel, Sophia. The treatment of darky Ethiopian Jews, is especially interesting because it takes religion out of the equation.

The one's who need to do the rethinking are the State Department and the European Union as they are the one's who have tolerated Hamas and bankroled to the billions of $/Euros the profligate corruption, financial and ethical.
If you are shocked by this then clearly you rarely if ever read Ha'aretz. They are often despicable.
