Congratulations to those stalwarts who braved the rain in New York City yesterday (including a bus load from Boston) to support Israel at the rally Ed Koch spoke about on video here. Who would think we'd go from having New York rallies against Ahmadinejad to standing in the rain holding signs because of our own President? Here are some links:

The photos while nice, don't give the outside viewer a glimpse of how large the crowd was. It spanned from 42nd and Second, all the way down to mid block between 43rd and 44th. Furthermore, the permit was only for the West side of the avenue--but there was also a significant crown on the East side of the block as well. Quite an impressive showing for a not-well advertised rally + something taking place in well, less than ideal weather conditions.
