Following the Dick Morris event the other night, I had the privilege of speaking for a couple of minutes with Congressional hopeful Sam Meas. Sam is running for the Republican nomination in the Massachusetts 5th Congressional District, now held by Democrat Niki Tsongas. I think you will enjoy seeing this short video I made in which Sam discusses his background and his feeling for Israel:
In a future post, I will be compiling the positions of some of the other people in the race as they relate to Israel.
Republican candidate. Heartening to see this. Adopted by an American family. Father was taken out (executed) by the Khmer Rouge, the same Khmer Rouge apologized for by Noam Chomsky and many, many, many others among the left, at the very time that slaughter was occurring.
Very heartening indeed to see these types of developments. There are other such Republican candidates (i.e. non-natives, e.g., at least a couple of east-Indians, a la Bobby Jindal, some hispanics).
So wonderfully inspiring. The American Dream lives. Great job, Sol. :)

Somewhat related, a Latina speaks up on behalf of AZ SB 1070. She states the obvious, that SB 1070 is not anti-immigration, nor is it racist, etc.
