Where have I heard that before? My take on the "big news" that yet another former administration official with a book to sell has realized he can cash in on the press's appetite for yellow: Isn't this just more of the same? Boring pseudo-revelations repackaged as this week's "new and improved." Anyway, looks like Steven Taylor has it pretty well covered here and here.
I am watching 60 Minutes as I write this, and I am listening to Richard Clarke indict George W. Bush in one of the most singularly vicious villifications of a man, no less a president, that I have ever, ever witnessed on American television in my near 50 years of life on this earth. Richard Clarke is singularly one of the most vile men I have ever had the unfortunate opportunity to share my American citizenship with, and goodness knows, I am sickened by this man's charges of George Bush's irresponsibility regarding 9-11. Clarke has reduced the standard of measure of morality to the lowest common denominator. I am outdone. Here are two links that must be read regarding the duplicity of Richard Clarke: http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2004/3/19/173238.shtml
and this: http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2004/3/20/232055.shtml. Folks, Kerry's ass stank is all over this one.
