I wonder if in the French papers they referred to him by name and as a sociologist or whatever he is or as the well known Jewish Sociologist.
Yeah, I think it's because the Jewish community in much of Europe is not as bold or sure of themselves as what we have in the US. They're have a "shuh" and lay-low mindset. Rather than stand by him, apparently some of them distanced themselves from that "troublemaker." Sad.
