In a previous PA TV children's program, preschoolers were taught the recommended response if a "little boy" were to cut down a tree - to "bring AK-47s and ... commit a massacre."

Well except for the obvious choices of targets, I bought my little girl a rifle when she was about 9-ish.
Reminds me of the Sandinista school book that taught children to count by counting hand grenades, showed young boys and girls marching with toy rifles, and so on.
Meanwhile the Sandinista government was getting praised no end by pacifists.
