I got some good photos of one of the fox kits I described in a previous post. They seem to like to hang out and play in this little area behind my neighbor's shed and my rabbit hutch (do rabbits sweat?). When I came home today, one of them was chilling out by himself back there, and didn't seem to mind me taking a few pictures and even a little video.
First, this is one I took a couple of days ago. He's curled up on a fallen tree having a good sleep:
The rest are what I saw today:
Finally, here's a little Quicktime movie taken with my digital camera:
Now THAT is cute. We have a family of rabbits who live in our backyard, and I am trying to take some pictures. So far, no luck. Our basset hounds torture them constantly...........
As he gets older he'll become more wary. Until then enjoy the experience.
And be sure to move the rabbits to a safer location.
Believe me, our dogs pose absolutely no threat to any of the rabbits. They've never come close to catching one, and the den is under our swing/playset. The dogs cannot really get to them.
Beautiful photos of the kits. I would move your rabbit hutch or protect it in some manner. Those adorable kits will soon be looking for opportunities to hunt for prey.
