Fausta has a good round-up of links regarding Hugo Chavez's trip to London, including and especially this piece at The Daily Ablution: Rapturous London Hosts Second Coming:
The frenzied rush to worship at the feet of the new Messiah continues apace, with Ken the Baptist Livingstone leading the way - today city business will be suspended for what will undoubtedly be an opulent lunch for the saintly Hugo Chavez and his disciples ("and he said unto them: When ye pray, say, 'Our Father, which art in Havana...'"). Londoners wishing to touch the hem of Mr. Chavez's impeccably tailored trousers will be disappointed, as they will not be permitted inside their City Hall today, but this disappointment will undoubtedly be assuaged by the knowledge that they'll be paying for the feast...
Thank you Solomon!
