Vicious racist Jew-hatred from a Syrian Imam and Minister on Syrian TV, courtesy of MEMRI:
Muhammad 'Abd Al-Sattar: "Jihad is now incumbent upon each and every Muslim, Arab, and Christian. The time has come for the duty of Jihad."
[...]
"Who occupied the Al-Aqsa Mosque? Who attacked the prophets? Who killed the prophets? Even the Koran depicts the people of Israel in a very sinister and dark way. Allah did not curse any people, not even the polytheists, not even the idol worshippers. The Koran did not curse any of these. The only ones who were cursed are those murderous criminals."
[...]
"The Koran used terms that are closer to animals than to humans only with regard to those people. Look at the bestiality they demonstrate in the destruction of the Arab, Lebanese, and Palestinian people. This is why the people who were given the Torah were likened to a donkey carrying books. They were also likened to apes and pigs, and they are, indeed, the descendants of apes and pigs, as the Koran teaches us."...
I wasn't surprised to see that the translation was courtesy of MEMRI. However, I think that it is common knowledge that they try to find the worst comments by Muslims and to disseminate them as widely as possible, in the hopes of portraying all Muslims in the same light. In addition, one of the co-founders of that organisation worked in Israeli intelligence, and I believe that at least a couple of other staff members also come from Israeli intelligence. People of all backgrounds and religions make racist comments. The US Senator from New York Chuck Schumer compared Arabs to skinheads and then refused to apologise for it! Why does MEMRI not publish information about the racism of Israelis, 2/3 of whom would not live in the same building as an Arab, and nearly half of whom would not allow an Arab in their home?
They sure have a lot of material to work with, don't they? A lot. And from mainstream Arab sources. A real steady stream.
"In addition, one of the co-founders of that organisation worked in Israeli intelligence, and I believe that at least a couple of other staff members also come from Israeli intelligence."
So what?
So what? Hmmm...Israel is build on land confiscated from Arabs...might people that have worked for Israeli intelligence be biased toward Arabs, as they often try to justify their occupation of Arab land by trying to portray Arabs and Muslims in a negative light?
If people who had formerly worked for Syrian intelligence under Bashar al-Asad or his father were running an organisation that purported to be a "research organisation," translating articles and speeches from English, would you really accept it as non-partisan, or would you think that they possibly have ulterior motives? Particularly if, for example, they published/translated mostly articles that made America look bad. For example, let's say that they would translate and disseminate things such as Chuck Shumer's comparison of Arabs to skinheads, or Billy Graham's son's description of Islam as a "wicked and evil religion," or General Boykin's comments that "my God was bigger than his [a Muslim's]," while never publishing anything positive that Americans said or did. Would you really trust such an organisation as an wholly reliable, unbiased source of information?
Or do you simply not care about the motives or possible bias of an organisation, as long as they put out what you want to hear?
I agree with the gentalman who said you are a ape and pig. Like most Jews, you are obsessed with yourself.
