Some 84 senior film industry members signed the statement, published in the Hollywood Reporter newspaper, the Los Angeles Times, and the Variety newspaper.

Consul General Danoch is continuing with his PR activities, and on Wednesday night he briefed the heads of the William Morris agency on the recent events in Lebanon.

Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't the Lebanese civilian casualties caused by Israeli bombs and Artillery? Did the Hezbollah and Hama somehow force Israel to bomb civilians?
The fact is the civilian casualties in Lebanon were caused by the Israeli military and no one else can be made accountable for it.
That's incorrect. Hizballah and Hamas hide amongst civilians and use them as human shields, often fighting from and storing their weapons in civilian facilities, as well as fighting without uniforms. These are war crimes, and makes them responsible for the resulting civilian casualties. Israelis are under no obligation to sit and allow themselves to be killed for fear of causing innocent casualties. They are responsible for trying to minimize same and for warning civilian populations of upcoming attacks -- both of which they have done.
The terrorists are responsible for any excessive non-combatant casualties because their tactics are specifically designed to create them.

Actually Israel bombed Hizballah positions not civilians. That is, unless you think the Hizballah terrorists themselves count as civilians. In which case the are the type of civilian that should be targeted.
Placing military positions and hiding in civilian populations is a war crime. The reason is that it is the equivalent of using the resulting civilian hostages as human sandbags.
It seems to me CW that you have a very distorted understanding of moral responsibility. If you tie a baby onto the front of your car and then try to run down a police officer it is not the police that are responsible for any harm that comes to the baby. You are.
... and yes that means that what the Vietcong did during the vietnam war was evil and most of the resulting bloodshed was on their hands and not the US's.
