Just got back from a long meeting held by some folks in the Andover community concerning the situation in the High School there. Obviously (I hope), I'm not going to give any details other than to say that if anyone was wondering if there were any parents,or people in authority (including the school committee), speaking out, they can stop wondering...there were a lot of angry people there, and they have the right names to be angry about. There need to be more, but that's a question of making more noise in the community and it's apparent that there are some well-meaning people out there who are not as much a part of the solution as they should be, some of whom are clearly and mistakenly (in my view) looked to for leadership. You can listen to and respect a certain viewpoint without necessarily looking to that person to be a leader and make a final decision.

Vague enough? Sorry. Bottom line is the saga continues and Wheels of Justice is scheduled to proselytize the kids this Friday. People are angry.

Update: Actually, I have some other thoughts on this I'll add later.
