While Israel is pulling energy out of rocks, Egypt, a country who, I'm sorry to say, produces little of anything but anti-Semitic propaganda (though they do have some cool bloggers), can still manage to put highly advanced military satellites in orbit (at least, they can pay others to do it for them). What an age: Egypt to launch first spy satellite

In an effort to gain a foothold in space and gather intelligence on Israel and other Middle Eastern countries, Egypt plans to launch its first spy satellite on Tuesday from Kazakhstan.

The Egyptstat 1, which weighs just under 100 kilograms, will circle the earth at an altitude of 668 kilometers. Using a high-powered multi-spectrum telescopic camera, it will be capable of transmitting black-and-white, color and infrared images. The camera can spot objects on the ground as small as four meters across.

Egypt hopes to launch another satellite - called Desertstat - by the end of the year, currently under construction in Italy...

Edit: Maybe Egypt will be looking to pick up some hints on how to accomplish some of the things its neighbor has as shown in this video: Cool Facts About Israel

a comparison between Israel and Egypt cant be made.. Egypts civilization is muuuuch more older than Israels. Egypt faces many more burdens than Israel does, look at Egypts population for one. In Egypt its either your Rich or Poor. There is barely a middle class. But Egypt is either a hate it or love it country. I have faith in Egypt, and i need someone to put together a "Cool facts about Egypt" Cuz im damn well sure, Egypt has some AMAZING facts..thanks
