I thought the real speech was pretty good, if lower energy than past efforts. Like Glenn, I was watching when Pelosi was standing and when not. What the heck was she chewing all night? It was like she was adjusting the screws on her face lift or something.
And the two or three times the camera went to Hillary? I swear the thought that immediately entered my mind, after the shock wore off, was, "Please God, don't let Hillary become President..." It's just brutal...like staring into the face of Medusa.
Was the subway hero guy a riot or what? He was having a great time.
Anyway, like I said, pretty good speech. The Democrats are definitely psyching themselves and us up to sacrifice Iraq. Iraq is Teddy Kennedy's second Vietnam.

I should have mentioned I was also wondering how many standing o's Dick Cheney has left in him.
Keep drinking that Bush kool-aid Sol.
And shame on you for making disparaging comments about women politician's appearances. Despite your Bush-love, I thought you were at least above chauvinism.

Sissy, I like Crittenden's piece, although I think there's no question Bush played it toned down and as much down the middle as he possibly could last night. He sounded the right notes, though.
