We had been unaware that Emma Thompson had actually been serving as Vanessa Redgrave's understudy all of these years. And I've always liked Emma, she was so good in...and...well...she used to be married to Kenneth Branagh, and he rocks.

She's very smart, there's a lot to take note of in her. But I shoulda known.
I did not appreciate at all the movie Imagining Argentina - in which she played a sentimentally fierce journalist who became a desaparecida. (btw, the Holocaust is sentimentalized terribly in that movie.)
Her latest character - in that movie with Will Ferrell, Dustin Hoffmann, and Maggie Gylleaebfdbfbdhall - was a complete caricature.
