*chuckle* Times have changed! The IDF women I served with weren't permitted to pose for Maxim. (Not that their images would have looked out of place there, ahem...)
If anyone's wondering about the Hebrew wording in the first picture (Nivit), it says "[no] entry at the gate". Draw your own conclusions.
Women of the IDF seem to be a popular topic. Rachel Papo has an interesting photo-essay, based on her own IDF service; a Google search will find you plenty more.
But it's not all cheesecake. Your Google search might also turn up this link, with this glamor pic of IDF sergeant Ma'ayan Na'im. Just above it is another picture of her, right after the July 11, 2004 bus-stop bombing that caught her, as rescue workers struggle frantically to save her life. (They were ultimately unsuccessful.)
Talk all you want about hot Israeli soldiers, folks. But don't forget that they're there for a purpose -- to protect their homeland with their lives. All too often that's exactly the price they must pay, men and women both.
I object!
This is ridiculous!
Why is it only "ladies of the IDF"? How come you're not posting about hot guys in the IDF, too?
This isn't fair.
I smell a money-making opportunity.
*sigh* They could all be my granddaughters...
where did the time go?
Kosher!
:-D

Sol, bump these two photps to the top with the Maxim link.
What a lovely young woman. What vile decisions Palestinians make.
Done.
