No chance after Bush, et al administered the death blow to the already out of step, out of touch Republican Party -- the party I have been a member of for over 40 years.

Paul T, you being a Republican for 40 years KNOW that the pendulum swings back and forth.
Don't worry, the country will get sick of Obama-crats too. The Republicans will be back as the Sun rises every day.
And think of all the fun you'll have bashing obama/biden - yuck. Biden has said DUMBER things than anything Sarah ever said - that's why Biden was put in the attic before the Election so he couldn't say more crazy/dumb/hoof in mouth stuff.
And if the "Fairness Doctrine" is foisted on the country, I expect "Fairness" will apply to CBS, NBC, ABC television News and programming as well.
"Fairness" applies to outlets that need licenses from the government to operate (TV and Radio) - unlike print/internet journalism.
I believe most of the anti-bush, anti-US movies tanked - the Market decides whether a film succeeds.
And if the "Fairness Doctrine" is foisted on the country, I expect "Fairness" will apply to CBS, NBC, ABC television News and programming as well.

Unfortunately if going on current behaviour with regards to the treatment in the media and elsewhere of the different religions as an indicator I think you will be in for a rude shock.
