NGO Monitor: NGOs propagandize at UN Periodic Review of Israel - 'On December 4, 2008, Israel is scheduled to be reviewed by the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) as part of the Universal Periodic Review process (UPR). The HRC will issue a report regarding Israel's human rights record on December 9th. As predicted by NGO Monitor, the majority of NGO UPR submissions ignore human rights issues facing Israelis and areas where Israel is a leader in this field, while grossly distorting the humanitarian, human rights and international legal dimensions of the Arab-Israeli conflict.
