Those are the three primary tactics that need to be deployed, in a concerted and pervasive fashion, in the current conflict. It has been and remains an ideological and propaganda based conflict most fundamentally, most vitally.
That's why blogs like Solomonia here, Melanie Phillips', Augean Stables, Totten's, Power Line, etc. serve to substantiate and reflect what, much more pervasively still, needs to be promulgated. Absent a sustained vision and focus and absent even-keeled and measured articulations, people will perish and succomb - and that's a fact that is as certain than gravity.
Too, with Obama bringing in "process diplomats" like Dennis Ross it should be apparent that Obama's depth and practical intelligence has been vastly overly estimated. That fact also serves as an indication and reminder that actors who are likely to erode the previously mentioned vision exist at every level, in virtually every quarter. I was once impressed with Ross's knowledge, but his moral/social comprehensions are wanting, a careerist and a process diplomat.
