Good article. I've said before that if our G-d is true (and there is so much that testifies to that truth) then it raises the spector that their's isn't. The possibility of that being true means that people are accountable ultimately accountable. Jews are used to living with being accountable. Non-Jews aren't and don't want to be and resent that they actually might be. In my opinion, hating Jews comes not nearly as much from hating Jews as it does from hating the idea of their G-d. Pograms against Jews, again, in my opinion, are not so much an effort to rid the world of Jews but a belief that by ridding the world of Jews they will be free from the scrutiny of their G-d.
