This is just a quick link to follow -- an "aside." These are links to interesting things that, for one reason or another, I didn't place into a full posting. Click the link to visit the full article. Go to the blog index for a regular listing of posts.
Alan Dershowitz: Goldstone Backs Away from Report: The Two Faces of an International Poseur - 'With so much (though not all) of the civilized world justly condemning (or ignoring) the Goldstone report for its distortion of the facts and its one-sided condemnation of Israel, Richard Goldstone himself now seems to be backing away from the report’s conclusions -- at least when he speaks to his Jewish audiences...' [Richard Goldstone talk out of both sides of mouth.]
Instead, he spoke out of both sides of his mouth, sending one message to those who read the actual report and a very different message to those who read his words in the Jewish Forward (and the New York Times for whom he wrote a more ameliorative op-ed on the day after the release of the Report). In doing so, he is trying to have it both ways.
Of course he has been taught the Arafat way of getting his message across - use two different "languages/words".
(In a manner like that Obama used for his pre-election address to AIPAC?)
Now Turkish TV has caught on to his message, in the version they like, and they are presenting their latest drama of the Jewish Blood Libel of Israelis killing little children.
