This is just a quick link to follow -- an "aside." These are links to interesting things that, for one reason or another, I didn't place into a full posting. Click the link to visit the full article. Go to the blog index for a regular listing of posts.
'This isn't the Britain we fought for,' say the 'unknown warriors' of WWII - 'The overall impression any reader of the letters gets is that this generation feel unheard, unwanted and unimportant. This remarkable collection of their thoughts should give us pause for reflection. They may be deemed beyond their sell-by date (and many of their views may seem unacceptable, flouting every sort of 'ism' imaginable) but, by their deeds of 60-plus years ago, they have won the right to be listened to and their disillusionment noted with respect. In one letter in this collection, an RAF mechanic quoted a poem about comrades who fell in battle: 'I mourned them then, But now surviving in a world, Indifferent to their hopes and dreams, I grieve more for the living.''
Yeah, Im not even sure that the world is a better place without British and French Empires anymore.
Fortunately, there is a stirring in Western Civilization, from those who do not wish to see their cultures die out peacefully.
Its interesting because the it seems that the other many cultures around the world are establishing presences in Europe and Anglo lands, courtesy of the Western New Left, as if they are vying for control of the resources of those lands...after whitey dies out and/or commits cultural suicide.
I can see the US as merely a place where different cultures and their associated Nation State Strongholds, which they arent promoting immigration to and multiculturalism within, have colonies and do business....with nothing holding the nation together.
What a shame.
You would think that Leftwingers (who seem to be concerned about other cultures dying out) arent moving to protect the indigenous cultures of Europe from invasion and colonization. Quite revealing that they dont, Id say.
One more thing, the Greatest Generation must be very bitter at their offspring the Baby Boomers who turned against Western Civilization in the majority...the New Leftists.
First they fought the fascists, then their children turned into fascists and pushed their fascism into the zeitgeist of Britain and other Western nations.
What a shame. You really have to feel for these old folks, who watched their spoiled children destroy the country that they fought for.
