Evangelical Christian who marched across the North Korean border was Sexually Abused by Captors - '...Robert Park, a missionary released by Pyongyang last month after crossing the border on Christmas Eve, was severely beaten and sexually abused during his detention, according to his close associates. Park, 28, who was released after 43 days in detention has received psychiatric treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder...'
That is a very sad ending to that story.
Mick Hartley seems to be specializing in North Korea these days...and has discussed this episode.
Its a shame that this man had to come to grips with totalitarianism in such a manner. You can see he was a broken man, upon his return.
I hope he doesnt lose faith...he will become more contemplative, than foolhardy.
