Yoram Dori: An open letter to Helen Thomas - 'In light of your recent remarks that Jews must "get the hell out of Palestine" and "go home," I think I should tell you about my parents' families...' [Very effective letter from a Peres adviser.]
About two years ago my sister's son, whose grandparents came to Israel from Poland, and his girlfriend, whose grandparent came to Israel from Yemen and Lybia, got married. A few months ago a first, beautiful daughter was born to them.
I wonder Which country is the "Home" this young family should go to, according to Ms. Thomas.
It is a pity that you have forgotten your history. Your people the Jews were jailed & killed in the millions not more than 70 years ago. You say that your family has gone through those times and yet you are now doing to the Palestinians what the Germans were doing to your parents then.
You have become the new German Nazis.
You claim that the Palestine land belongs to you. On what basis? A verse in the Bible? You must be joking right? If I leave my house and land now and come back 50 years from now. I think that title to my land would have been forfeited by the government for non-payment of taxes and it would have been sold to another person.
You should try to share instead of taking everything. Israel is a hot arid peice of land that I sometimes wonder why are there so many blood shed for such dismal place.
Your country have money. Why not buy a small piece of land maybe from Canada or Australia and your people can live in peace after more than 2000 years.
The arabs adjacent to Israel have bred like rabbits.
To compare their population explosion to the state organised, Germanically categorised, clinically orchestrated slaughter of six million people, chosen because of their religion, shows that you are an ignorant c*nt.
I hope Solomon kicks your anti Semitic arse out of here.
I agree with some of the comments on the JPost article in that I think it is not correct to base the Jewish claim of a homeland on the holocaust.
Israel and Judea and Samaria (and Gaza and Jordan) have been the homeland of the Jews for millenia. The arabs are the interlopers and should make arrangements to leave.
Dori's article is quite moving and Israel should stand as a place of refuge for Jews suffering persecution, but that is not the basis of the Jews' claim to the land.
I continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. I watch the events unfolding and know that we are in the midst of imminent danger. Thank you for your inspiring words. May God bless and keep yoy as the apple of His eye.

Criticizing Israel, Outside of IsraelJune 04, 2010
In a much-discussed essay in the New York Review of Books this month, journalist Peter Beinart argues that groups like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and the Anti-Defamation League squelch criticism on these shores by regarding critics of Israel as enemies of Israel. Beinart and Steven Rosen, formerly of AIPAC, debate the issue.

Yo Jesus, You seem not to know much about the Holocaust, or about the Israeli Palestinian conflict, or both.
I suggest that you acquaint yourself with the facts first and only then open up and opine, if you really must.
