And that excludes benefits from Supplemental Security Income disability checks. America is now a country which punishes those middle-class people who not only try to work hard, but avoid scamming the system...'
I cant believe you published that article on how low income people have more
disposable income than someone making $60,000.
Do you take us for idiots? None of those special government assistance programs
would be needed if wage earners earned a decent income.....all in all about $30,000
that the government and taxpayers are paying the poor BECAUSE CORPORATIONS,
INDUSTRY AND BUSINESSES REFUSE TO PAY DECENT WAGES.
If they paid their workers $60,000 in wages, which is very fair for a family of four, then
taxpayers wouldnt have to shell out all those government funds.
And you let the wealthy off the hook...those who should be paying MORE in taxe
This is kind of reasoning that is typical of the idiots who scream for
smaller government. They refuse to put the blame on business for poverty
and unemployment and blame government for everything except giving special
tax treatment to the rich.
And you print this as if it were important news? As it it had a grain of truth?
For shame.
